Firstly, i have to say that i purchases this shed because the dimensions worked with my requirements. Looking back on the whole process i have to say that the directions were a little patchy/ inconclusive and there also are some fundamental issues with the product that I had to rectify using my own knowledge of the building process from my experience of building our house. The good, the size worked, the colour looks good. Its a shed. It does its job. If it wasnt for what im about to mention, i would give it 4.5/ 5 stars. The not so good. I opened the crate. Some panels had been bent a bjt from the transit process. No big deal. The plastic that was atrached to the panels came off in small bits at a time. It was very thin and a real issue. It must of taken me 3/4 of a day to peel off all the pieces of plastic. Ive used colour bond products before and the plastic protection comes off in one piece. The colorbond steel also is more rigid too. The steel seemed very thin. Secondly. I poured a concrete slab with a rebated edge as per the suppliers instructions. There was no detail in the instructions of how to flip the brackets over and fasten the shed to the slab. Thirdly. In the instructions, there was np provisions for a fall (slope) on the roof. I had to use spacers and i bought new tek screws. Which leads me to my next point. The self drilling screws in my opinion are not strong enough to hold the roof on in extreme weather. I bought 50mm long tek screws. Much more sturdy. The instructions suggested drilling through the valley to attach the roof. In roofing you must always fasten down from the top of the ridge so that water wont pool around the screw snd cause rust. And therefore leak. In the end i decided to ditch the instructions one I had all the panels assembled. In some cases the ink was quite light and difficult to read. For somebody not very practical i feel like there are a few things they will struggle with. Would i buy thus product again? Not sure. I definately wouldnt race back. I might consider spending a bit more and get genuine colorbond/ lyasight material. However for the price, and if you have time and can be a little creative and not rely on the instructions, then it is worth considering. So i would recommend it in that case.
